Wool 90 · Cashmere 10 · Unlined double-faced · 1.3kg
From outside to inside, compare layer by layer with coats in the same price range.
Using only thick wool is warm but can be itchy on the neck. We blended 10% fine cashmere to smooth the surface and brushed the nap in one direction for a glossy finish.

Woven like a single piece from two layers of fabric, so both inside and outside are wool. Without a slippery poly lining, there's less static, and the weight is reduced by nearly 300g (Example).

Measured by hanging three coats of the same thickness side by side (example).
| Lined coat | Double-faced coat | |
|---|---|---|
| What touches the inside | Poly lining | Same wool fabric |
| Static electricity | Frequent every winter | Less likely |
| Weight (M) | 1.6kg | 1.3kg |
| Alteration | Requires ripping the lining as well | Simple as a single layer |

Hand-stitched edges with no visible seam marks.
The two layers of double-faced fabric are separated by 1cm at the edge, folded inward, and hand-stitched. No threads are visible from the outside, creating a thin and smooth hem. It takes a full day to make one piece.

Horn buttons are heavier than plastic and each has a unique grain. They are attached by wrapping thread to create a shank matching the fabric thickness, so the buttonhole doesn't pull and it won't sag even when buttoned for a long time.
