3-year review by mountaineering club leader Jang** (example interview)
The biggest thing is that my legs shake less on downhills
Q. Why did you choose these poles in the first place? A. Other hikers' poles kept coming loose halfway up the mountain. If a section suddenly collapses, you fall forward. I chose these because I was looking for poles with a secure lever lock instead of a twist lock.

The tips don't slip on wet rocks. With the rubber caps on, they are quiet even on city stairs.
I could flip the lever with thick gloves on, making it easy to adjust the length on snowy trails.
After 3 years of use, the cork has molded to my hands. I wish the pair was a bit lighter.
Q. What broke during 3 years of use? A. I only replaced the rubber caps twice. The lever still clicks when flipped. There's no rattling when it hits the ground, so everyone asks where it's from.

Internal test results repeated under the same conditions (example).

Cork doesn't get slippery even when it absorbs sweat, and it molds to your hand shape the more you use it. A soft pad is attached to the inside of the wrist strap.

I've never almost fallen because the lever came loose.

So adjust the length first.
Adjust the length so your elbows are at a right angle on flat ground, 5cm shorter for uphills, and 5cm longer for downhills.
| Height | Flat ground | Uphill | Downhill |
|---|---|---|---|
| 155~165 | 105 | 100 | 110 |
| 165~175 | 115 | 110 | 120 |
| 175~185 | 125 | 120 | 130 |

Fold the sections and put them in the cloth bag, and put rubber caps on the tips so they don't pierce the box. We include an extra pair of rubber caps.

I bought it after seeing the leader's poles still in great shape after 3 years. I finished my first traverse with these poles.
Adjusting to the length chart made descents much more comfortable. Matching it to your height is important.
